Pumpkin Patch

As you can see in my Flickr picture gallery, we visited the Lonepine Pumpkin Patch today.  With all of the people that were there today, I am sure that they make at least 75% of their business for the entire year in the weeks leading up to Halloween.  It was crazy busy!  We stood in line to take the tractor ride out to the patch for at least 45 minutes.  Beside that and RUDE Californians cutting in line and pushing my mom out of the way to get to the front (probably just mad because he was wearing a Cal hat and the Beavers beat ’em yesterday (hahaha)), the rest of the experience was positive.  It is fun to go pick out the perfect pumpkin, especially with the weather as nice as it was today.  It was probably about 65 degrees today and I may have even gotten a sunburn on the top of my head.  We picked two pumpkins that weighed a total of 57 pounds.  Maybe next year Grant will be ready for the Corn Maze (or is it a Maize Maze?)…

The fam and I were at Lone Pine on Sat, 10/13! We went back again today! They sure are proud of those 55 gal drums and less than $10.00/day in gas for the cow train ride, charging $3 per person, per ride!
